dune

Hello from Farewell Spit, the northwest corner of the South Island.
It's a glorious corner of the world.
Verdant valleys and sheep.
And huge sand dunes.
Wharariki Beach is actually on the West Coast, though it's six hours drive from where I stayed before.
We were looking for seal pups but only saw one.
Hard to complain when it looks like this.
Low tide near Farewell Spit.
Then I came back and took a bush bath near a stream. Not sure where the hot water comes from, but it felt great.
